Renew your domain names with Are U Hosted and enjoy great renewal rates!

If you registered your domain name with us, we will Auto-renew your domain name, please make sure your domain name invoice has been paid BEFORE the due date and that your credit card details are up to date. Log into your online account manager here and login to the members area .

Note: .au domain names can be renewed between 90 days before its expiry date and 14 days after its expiry date. All other domain names can be renewed at any time.

If you have already registered your domain name elsewhere and wish to use it with a Are U Hosted hosting plan simply order any hosting plan from and select the “I will use my existing domain name” option and enter your registered domain name and continue through the form.

You can use it with any Are U Hosted hosting service.

If you registered your domain name with Are U Hosted we will take care of the below steps. If you registered it elsewhere we can also take care of the following steps if you fill out this online form, you will need to provide your domain name, username and password. If you would prefer to complete this step yourself please see below.

If you have already registered your domain name elsewhere and wish to use it with a Are U Hosted hosting plan simply order any hosting plan from and select the 'I will use my existing domain name" option and enter your registered domain name and continue through the form.

We will then activate your account and you will need to contact your domain registrar or log in to their domain management section and request a name server change to redirect your existing domain name to your new service hosted by us.

You should provide your domain registrar with the following nameserver information:

Once you have submitted the nameserver information the DNS delegation process will start which takes no longer than 12 hours, once complete your hosting account will now be accessible by typing your domain name into a browser, you can then upload your website and set up email accounts. These 2LDs are known as "closed" because they are closed to the general public, and only available to entities within a defined sector.

  For educational institutions registered at federal or state level. This domain is managed on behalf of an Australian education sector.

  For federal, state and local government bodies. This domain is managed on behalf of an Australian government sector.
• csiro.au
  For the sole use of the Commonwealth Science and Industry Research Organisation (CSIRO).

"Community Geographic" 2LDs

These 2LDs are known as "community geographic" 2LDs because they are reserved for use by community groups, and only Australian geographic (place) names may be registered.
